Are Unemployed Mothers Receiving Child Grant To Apply For SRD R350?

One of the questions most people especially mothers who are receiving Child support Grants on behalf of their children should be considered for the SRD R350?

For many who are in doubt since the the announcement of the Reinstatement of the SRD grant, the keyword there is “caregivers” who are unemployed.

The emphasis is on the Caregiver who is unemployed who are already receiving Child support Grants.

Although, we are all waiting SASSA to clarify all these matters, one thing is clear, SASSA has a final say in this matter.

I therefore advise all mothers who are truly unemployed and receiving the child support grant to go ahead and apply or submit a new application when the time is due.

At the end of the day, SASSA will determine who qualifies and who does not qualify for SRD grant.

In the previous scheme, mothers who were already receiving Child support Grants on behalf of their children were not allowed to apply, but this time there seems a change in the way things are done.
